PLEASE NOTE : From 21 November 2016 the New Zealand Government is set to introduce visitor visa requirements for all South African nationals wishing to travel to New Zealand.

Currently, people from South Africa do not need to apply for a visa before travelling to New Zealand, with genuine visitors being granted a visitor visa on arrival. This means that from on or from the 21 November 2016 ALL South African nationals will need to obtain a visa before travelling to New Zealand.

PLEASE BE ADVISED THAT WE WILL NOT BE APPLYING FOR EVISAS ONLINE FOR SOUTH AFRICAN PASSPORT HOLDERS. YOUR PASSPORT IS STILL REQUIRED FOR IDENTIFICATION PURPOSES AND WILL BE SENT TO VFS VISA CENTRE FOR A VISA LABEL

 

TOURIST VISA REQUIREMENTS

 

• Application form (INZ1017) and the INZ1224 use of a representative form completed in full and signed by each applicant. Spouse and dependant children can all complete one form under the main applicant.

 

• A valid passport is required

 

• Two, colour, passport size photograph’s

 

• Proof of funds (ORIGINAL Bank statements for the last three months - or certified copies. The bank statements must be in English.

 

• ORIGINAL employers letter confirming employment, leave & expected return date. If self- employed, also include certified copy of company registration papers. Students or scholars must provide a letter of enrolment from the school or university/college.

 

• Minors traveling alone require a certified letter of consent from both parents or certified letter of consent from parent not traveling with.

 

• For all minors under the age of 18, traveling with or without parents, a certified copy of the FULL UNABRIDGED birth certificate is required.

 

• Letter of invitation/proof of accommodation is required. If staying with family or friends the letter must have a signature and address on it with copy of their passports/residence status.

 

• Copy of flight itinerary is required.

 

 

 

 

PROCESSING TIME

 

• Generally 25-30 Working days.

 

BUSINESS VISA REQUIREMENTS

 

 

• Application form (INZ1017) and the INZ1224 use of a representative form completed in full and signed by each applicant. Each applicant must have their own application form.

 

• A valid passport is required

 

• Two, colour, passport size photograph’s

 

• Copy of Travel Agent itinerary

 

• Original company letter confirming the nature of the business to be conducted as well as the contact details of the company in New Zealand. (Self-employed applicants must also include a certified copy of their company Registration Papers)

 

• Letter of invitation from the company in New Zealand

 

PROCESSING TIME

 

• Generally 25-30 Working days.
